Make the promise arrive in good condition
A customer orders a particular card—not something almost identical. The right edition, language, condition, and quantity matter. So does the way it is protected and how reliably it leaves our warehouse.
At Last Media, we are building LastDraw, a trading card business people can trust, with a physical store planned as our next step. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and brings a sharp eye, an organized approach, and the ambition to make an operation run better.
This is a practical role with real responsibility. Picking and packing are central to it, but so are accurate stock, dependable intake, and noticing why the same avoidable problem keeps happening.
What you will take care of
- Picking, packing, and dispatch: assemble orders, check the details, protect cards and products appropriately, prepare shipments, and keep dispatch work moving without sacrificing accuracy.
- Incoming goods: check deliveries against records, identify discrepancies or damage, and move new products and incoming collections through the agreed intake process.
- Entering new items: identify products and card variants, assess condition using our standards after training, enter quantities and product details, and prepare accurate listings within agreed pricing rules.
- Warehouse organization: maintain clear storage locations, labels, and orderly workstations so stock is easy to find and safe to handle.
- Inventory accuracy: carry out counts, investigate mismatches, process returns correctly, and keep physical stock and system records aligned.
- Better workflows: suggest and test practical improvements to intake, storage, picking, and packing. Less searching and repeated handling; fewer mistakes and unfinished piles.
- Useful handovers: flag missing stock, unusual variants, and dispatch risks early, with enough information for colleagues to act.
A possible future store component
Once our planned store opens, part of the role may also involve welcoming customers, helping them find products, handling checkout, and keeping the sales area ready for visitors. We would agree the balance and schedule in advance and provide the necessary training. Logistics and inventory remain the core of this position.
What you bring
You are careful without becoming unnecessarily slow. You can concentrate on repetitive work and still notice when something does not add up. When a stock location is wrong, you care about correcting the record—not just finding today's card and leaving the next person the same puzzle.
We would like to see:
- Reliable working habits, attention to detail, and confidence with quantities and straightforward calculations.
- Comfort using computers, stock systems, and spreadsheets; willingness to learn our tools properly.
- The ability to organize your work, communicate a blocker, and finish a task without repeated reminders.
- Practical interest in how a warehouse or shop operates, not only in completing your individual step.
- Clear German for everyday teamwork and possible customer service; enough English to work with common product information is helpful.
- Readiness for hands-on warehouse work, including standing, walking, and safely handling stock and parcels.
Training in logistics, retail, e-commerce, or another detail-focused profession is valuable. So is a strong track record in comparable work. A degree is welcome but not required: we are looking for someone who combines practical ability with thoughtfulness and a willingness to learn. TCG knowledge helps; careful habits matter more than already knowing every set.
How we work—and what you can expect
We appreciate someone who spots a problem, checks the facts, and takes the appropriate next step. That can mean fixing it, asking a good question, or bringing it promptly to the person with the right authority. Helping a colleague during a busy dispatch period is normal; quietly abandoning your own priorities is not.
In return, we offer a role where craftsmanship and better ideas matter, direct contact with the people making decisions, and room to take on more responsibility as your capability grows. We are prepared to pay more for someone who combines dependable execution with stronger skills and sound judgment. This is not a search for the cheapest pair of hands.
Good work here is visible: orders are correct, new stock becomes sellable promptly, discrepancies are followed up, and the next person can understand where you left things.
